The core of my professional skills centers around my knowledge and ability in training and education. I have created and developed a wide-array of curriculum utilizing technology to educate and empower small and large organizations. My areas of expertise are technical training, leadership, career development, mindfulness, coaching, essential skills, and facilitation.

Technology

I have spent my career working in the tech sector from owning a web-hosting business to working for several software companies. Using technology is a necessity, using technology effectively is a specialized skill. From big data to artificial intelligence, I have always maintained a cutting-edge approach to how I use and interact with technology.

Communication

Communication is the most significant skill I use every day at work. As a manager of a training team, we must communicate about classes we are teaching, upcoming events, success measures, how we are doing against our department MBO’s and project deliverables. Our key to success is developing a communication strategy to ensure effective change management

Teamwork

Whether managing a team or working as a member of a team. Teamwork is essential to accomplishing any task well.

I am considered a leader on any team I am a part of but I approach that role with curiosity, openness and kindness toward others.
Being able to work well with others is an essential life skill and one that I am dedicated to giving my best at all times. As a manager building strong diverse teams means that each member has unique skills that blend together to make the team better and more innovative.

Leadership

A leader is a person of influence, which means that we are all leaders in our own lives and anywhere we have influence over others. Throughout my career I have learned how impactful both superior and poor leadership can be and how challenging it is to overcome unethical or destructive leadership approaches.
My own leadership style and approach has evolved significantly over my career as I have investing in developing my leadership skills and applying them through team management.
